About the Guma Foundation
The Guma Foundation ( Foundation) was started in memory of Ralph M. Guma Sr. and Ralph M. Guma Jr. (Ralphy). In memory of Ralph Sr., the Foundation awarded annual scholarships up to $2000 per year to high school seniors.
In memory of Ralphy, the Foundation through The Tomorrows Children’s Fund, shifted its focus to donating up to $10,000 per year since 2000. This year to honor the 20th Annual Casino Night, the Foundation donated $20,000. The monies have been targeted to children suffering from brain tumors. Ralphy was a brain tumor survivor of 23 years.
The Guma Foundation relies solely on donations from the public, loyal supporters, family, and friends. In recent years Casino Night has become the Foundation’s major fund raiser. It is a night where good friends and family come together to celebrate and remember both Ralph Sr. and Ralphy, and raise funds for the Foundation.
Since 2000 the Guma Foundation has donated Over $350 K in total to scholarships, families of children with brain tumors and those in need. We believe that helping create a positive environment for a sick child is a privilege.
It is because of your participation in our fundraising efforts and the generous contributions received during the year, that the Guma Foundation is able to continue the tradition of helping others.
The Guma Foundation Inc. is a registered not for profit organization with the State of New Jersey and categorized as a 501 (C)(3) organization with the Federal Government.
